CORE Consulting and ONaL Attorneys At Law Law Merged

CORE Consulting, founded by Sezin Elcin Cengiz, and Onal Attorneys at Law, founded by Emre Onal, have merged to form COPARTNERS, an independent consulting firm specialized in competition law and regulation, effective March 1, 2024.

Sezin Elcin Cengiz brings 23 years of dedicated experience in the competition/antitrust field, having previously served as the head of the Competition/Antitrust practice at White & Case Turkey for 12 years and as a senior case handler/expert in competition law at the Turkish Competition Authority for 10 years.

Emre Onal, a Turkish and New York qualified antitrust lawyer, brings 21 years of dedicated experience in private practice. Before establishing Onal Attorneys at Law, he served as the head of Competition/Antitrust practice at Allen & Overy Turkey, also acting, in his past few years at the Firm, as the lead antitrust counsel for Middle East Region.

The merger aims to create “Turkey’s go-to-firm” in competition law and regulation, drawing on Sezin’s and Emre’s extensive experience delivering top tier services at international law firms, all within an independent framework. Clients can expect a seamless transition, maintaining the same level of attention and commitment to excellence.

Led by Sezin and Emre, the COPARTNERS team includes Adnan Akgun as a Partner, and Zeynep Ozgultekin, Umut Bakanogulları, Bahadır Bektas, Merve Demirkaya and Ilayda Akca as Associates.
